Card divination covers many if not all areas of one’s life – from the sitter’s past- to present- to future… if you are a card reader… you will know there are many cards out there used as a tool for reading including;
Tarot - which has Minor and Major Arcanas and this divination, is one of the oldest ways to read…
Angel Cards - which is a gentle way of passing on a message…
Oracle Cards - which is also a gentle way of passing on a message to the sitter…
Rune Cards – which stem away back in time… you most likely have heard of Rune Stones rather than cards, however you can also use Rune Cards…
Playing Cards – which are what they say… basically ordinary playing cards and have been used as divination for many, many years and still being used…
Many psychics/mediums use cards as tools to tune into the sitter- again always remember “Nothing is set in stone” remember that we all have “Freewill” the psychic can tune into the sitters energy and shuffle a deck of cards with any of the cards mentioned above. In my own opinion tarot cards are best to use however they can be quiet blunt but again would be down to the psychic reading where as angel cards do tend to have the same message but in a gentle manner. Again in my own personal experience I find when reading any cards I use that they tend to talk to me – Look at each picture of each card- what do you feel from holding the card? What images come to mind while holding a card? What do the colours mean to you? All of these questions are relevant while reading so have a think about it when you are maybe trying out a deck of cards. When using cards as a tool or divination – before each reading… hold your deck of cards close to your heart and say a little intent. You can also cleanse each card by lighting incense such as Sage and pass each card through the smoke making sure you say a little intent.
